The Herriott Heritage Association had our 2009 International Reunion in Edinburgh, Scotland. We had Herriotts (with its variant spellings) from the United Kingdom as well as the United States attending. We had a great time, met "new cousins" and made new friends.

We toured interesting sites in and around the Edinbrugh area, getting a warm feeling of connecting with our Scottish roots. These included George Heriot's School, Roslyn Chapel, Holyrood House, Edinburgh Castle, Greyfriars Kirk and John Knox's House in Edinbrugh and the East Lothian Villages of Castlemains, Dirleton, Haddington, Traboun and Gladsmuir. We wound up our reunion with a wonderful banquet at the Radisson Hotel in Edinbrugh. This hotel in old town Edinbrugh was a great place to stay and was a very convenient location for our reunion activities.

We had many people taking pictures during the reunion and Gary Goodwin, one of our attendees and an adept photographer, has shared his on line at http://www.photoshow.com/watch/ZC4fX4qA. Please follow this link to enjoy his work and relive the trip if you were one of the attendees.
